At SoCal Speech-Language Therapy, we are proud to offer PEERS® for Adolescents, an evidence-based social skills program developed at UCLA. This program is designed for neurodivergent teens who want to build and maintain friendships, navigate social challenges, and communicate with greater confidence.
Led by Dr. Carla Kekejian, a UCLA-certified PEERS® provider and licensed speech-language pathologist, the group empowers adolescents to form meaningful relationships and enhance their social communication skills in a supportive, structured environment.
PEERS for Adolescents is an evidence-based social skills program for teens who are interested in making and keeping friends and/or handling conflict and rejection. Participants are taught social skills through didactic lessons and role-play demonstrations, and practice these skills during group socialization activities.
